Firm and long-lasting, these bars create a delightfully bubbly lather. The Bare Bar has no essential oil added, nor does it have any colorants, making it a great choice for those with skin or scent sensitivities. The color is purely the color of the soap itself - a lovely, buttery cream.
The Bare Bar is excellent for a wide range of needs, from infant care to eczema to keeping new tattoos clean and moisturized.
INGREDIENTS: A gentle handcrafted soap, it is made with organic extra virgin olive oil, organic and sustainably sourced coconut oil, and sodium hydroxide*. Each bar is hand cut to approximately 3.5 ounces (100g).

*sodium hydroxide (lye), is the magic that turns oils into soap. Through a process called saponification, the lye and oils mix to form an entirely new substance - soap! None of the lye is left after the saponification process is finished; the lye and oil molecules have broken each other apart and reformed into soap and glycerin, a soothing, natural humectant. Additionally, I add more oil than is needed for my recipe (called superfatting) to create a bar that is gentle and hydrating.
