The foundation of the Toledo Soap Co. soap line, The Essentials Collection is the complete set of the original essential oil soaps I ever offered.
These six scents were very carefully chosen, and with great deliberation. I wanted to create a strong assortment with wide appeal, and to use only essential oils to achieve it. Not only that, but these original essential oil bars needed to be very clean, pure scents - in other words, no intricate blends.
I wanted the most straightforward scent options for you, and this collection achieves that end. An herbal/floral, an herbal/astringent, a citrus, a bright wood, a deep wood, and a no added scent for ultimate flexibility.
The colors were then as carefully chosen as the scents as I wanted a beautiful rainbow-hued assortment, created solely with natural colorants. They not only had to pair well with the scent of each bar, but they needed to complement each other in tone and intensity. Thankfully, nature is bountiful, making all these colors available as natural clays and charcoal.
The Toledo Soap Co. will continue to grow and new soaps will be added, but this set is the core of the business, how it all started.
